Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. ~Robert Frost

While I was in Hot Springs, the girls in the group all signed up for spa treatments at the Arlington Hotel & Spa (a very old and ornate hotel along the main drag in downtown Hot Springs). All along that street, there are big bath houses where you can go for spa treatments relating to the hot springs. This city is known for the bath houses and they are very popular.
I decided to try "The Works" at the spa, which included a 20-minute bath in the hot springs water (with jets), then a hot towel wrap, then a 20-minute massage. It was a very historic bath house and a totally different experience than the typical spa or massage place. They were the original big bathtubs from years and years ago and there are attendants that assist you from one place in the bath house to another. The tile on the floor and walls was like the tile in my bathroom in Toledo - very old fashioned and from the turn of the century. It was so interesting! I wanted to take pictures, but of course I couldn't since there were other people in there that probably wouldn't appreciate it!
Oh, and here's my water 'glass' at breakfast on Sunday - in a mason jar! That's sooo Arkansas!
