Mayce sent me a link to the ONE & ONLY costume I'm willing to spend money on for Maggie (since she hates clothes and will chew her way out of them and waste my money). It's the bun/ketchup outfit for wiener dogs! How awesomely bad is this?! And it's on clearance for $6.29, so how could I resist?!

When I got my little Frankie (red dachshund) 9 years ago I swore I would never dress her in a hot dog costume. SO CHEESY, I thought. Well, after Frankie became paralyzed and is now in a doggie wheelchair my friend bought her a hot dog costume. I still refused. Then I heard some advertising about The Oscar Meyer Weinermobile and it hit me!! Guess what? I have my own version of the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile! So, you guessed it, I dressed her in that hot dog costume and took pictures. I now share Frankie's story (through her children's book) and that photo of her in hot dog costume with many local school children and it always gets lots of giggles and smiles!! You just can't beat the giggles and smiles of children.
