Thankful Thursday

Back to a normal blogging schedule - that means that it's Thankful Thursday - here goes!

1. Great Customer Service - About a week or two ago, I went to Calloway's Nursery and when I walked in, a man asked me if I needed help finding anything and showed me right where the wave petunias were. He also got them down for me, put them on a cart, and helped me to the check-out. After I bought everything, he carted everything out to my car for me and helped me load the flowers into my backseat! Now THAT'S customer service.

2. Sunroof days

You just HAVE to love a day when it's not too hot yet and it's not too cold - but rather it's JUST RIGHT for the sunroof. And you bask in the sun and ride the open road! (or you sit in traffic on 360, but whatever...)

3. A simple text from a friend that says "Miss you."

Last week, I got a random text from a friend of mine that NEVER texts and it simply said "Miss you." WOW - those 2 little words just made my whole day - actually my whole week. This friend lives far away and I just miss her so much and wish she was here with me. It really feels good when someone is thinking of you and tells you that they miss you.

4. Days where you can cross a million things off your list!

Since I am such a Type-A person, lists are my FRIEND and I love them. I know - I'm nerdy, but it give me MUCH joy to cross things off of a list. I love being efficient, productive and feeling like I'm getting stuff done.

Now, some days you have a list and you just cannot get anything done, due to roadblocks, impromptu meetings, unforeseen complications, etc. But there's just something GREAT about those days when you get a TON or ALL of your items done on your list - it feels fantastic!

5. Travel

Every person has different hobbies, interests and passions - that's what makes us each so unique and great! One of my passions is travel - going to new places, seeing new things, learning how things are made, etc. I love history, scenery, big cities, drives out in nature, you name it!

I blogged a while ago about the things that make you feel truly ALIVE and travel does that for me. I have met lots of people who could take it or leave it, but for me - it's a true JOY and privilege to be able to see new things and places. I'm very lucky that I have been able to travel as much as I have - and here's to future adventures!
