Trunk or Treat!

On Halloween afternoon, Chris and I volunteered to help at our church's 1st Annual Trunk or Treat, held in the parking lot!

Basically, you just park a ton of cars in lines and then open up your trunk and decorate it and hand out candy. Chris was manning the truck that we decorated and I volunteered to help with the kids' crafts area.

Here are some pics of the event:

Some pirates....

This is everyone getting set up and decorated...

This was the craft area that I ran in the lobby of the church...

And here is Chris in his 'redneck contractor' costume - it was awesomely bad - blacked out teeth, fake ponytail and everything!

Here's the back of his truck all decorated...

People got really creative - some really cute trunks!

And of course, the bounce houses...

And yummy sugar stuff......

These were my 2 favorite trunks that we saw....

The Texas A&M fans were next to us....

It was a very fun day - over 250 kids came through!
