This week I am thankful for my Mom and all mothers that have touched my life. I grew up with a Mom who dedicated a lot of time, love, affection and effort to us. She was a Girl Scout troop leader, Sunday School teacher, she volunteered with our schools, and threw us little birthday parties. She made birthday cakes, patched up our injuries and let us run in the sprinklers. I love that she was THAT kind of Mom. Our friends thought she was 'cool' and liked coming to our house after school. I know that I am who I am because of her - so THANKS, MOM!!
