Memphis Pigs

Last week, April and I tried out a new restaurant that is right by our office and I have been meaning to try - Red Hot & Blue. It's all memphis-style BBQ and it has a lot of character!

For instance, pigs that are playing the guitar is their logo - see the bathroom doors below!

And the boy pigs look like ZZ Top, don't they??

Drinks are served in mini-pitchers - so cool!

An appropriate name for their servers.....heehee

Even on their receipts, the pigs appear.....

One characteristic of "Memphis" style BBQ is that they put coleslaw in the sandwich - it was really good!

They had blues music playing and all of the decor was Memphis blues - very neat.

The atmosphere was awesome - you couldn't help but be in a good mood.

Oh, and I couldn't help myself - had to get a picture of the "Hoochie Coochie" flavor of BBQ sauce!
