I think I've officially stolen a quote from the movie "Sweet Home Alabama" and made it my own......."You have a BABY.....in a BAR!!" Lately, I have seen people do the stupidest things, as well as hearing about them on TV as well. 
For instance, when I was returning a movie to Blockbuster on Saturday night (11:30pm - right before it was due back at midnight), I parked next to a big pick-up truck and the only reason that I even looked at it at all was because I had taken Maggie with me to drop the movie off and the lady in the truck was smiling and pointing at Maggie when I got out of the car. When I looked in the truck, I saw that she had a baby and another small child in the back seat of the truck. (Shouldn't they be at home in bed?!) Anyway, that wasn't the alarming part......Right at the top of the metal part of the passenger door - near where the window starts, there was a bullet hole! Somebody had tried to shoot someone in the truck - right at chest level! WHAT?! Those poor kids - dragged around town at all hours of the night in a truck that has bullet holes in it!!!!
I also read a friend's blog recently which detailed an alarming experience at a bar/dance club in which a totally WASTED wild woman was acting all nasty and crazy and then when she turned around.........it was obvious that she was very PREGNANT! WHAT?!! Can you call the cops on her for that?! If so, I would've!
What is wrong with people?!! It's stuff like this that makes me like dogs more than people........

:) I just watched that movie again this weekend, that line cracks me up! I agree with how some people are with their kids! The outlet mall in Albertville does a midnight madness sale the night of Thanksgiving, and I was there a few years ago (crazy I know), but even crazier were the moms pushing around stollers and little kids under the age of 5 walking around the whole time I was there from Midnight til I left at 4 a.m.!!!! Crazy parents!!!!! Allison
