Birthday Fun

Well, it happened.......I turned the Big 33 and my 33-list began. August 2nd at 11:53am was the beginning of my adventurous year ahead. My co-workers helped and supported me in accomplishing one thing on my list on this first day - wearing a dress!

I pretty much never wear dresses, but I put it on my 33-list to challenge myself to do it. So Erin sent out an email to ask the other ladies in the office to go along with dress day on my birthday. It was so fun! I could really get used to this dress thing - especially in Texas during the hot summer....

Here's me and my birthday cake that Cindy made (it was AWESOME by the way - lemon blueberry!):

Erin insisted on having a candle on it, so she stuck a glass one in the middle of the cake and I got to blow it out.....

And my boss is super cool - he got me a mouse pad and coasters with wiener dogs on them! YES!

How cute is that wiener?!

Oh, and my Mom sent me this cute toaster cover that she sewed! She even measured my toaster the last time she was here - now that's some dedication. It matches my kitchen SO much better than the stark white toaster. :)

I had a great birthday this year - thanks for all of the birthday wishes, everyone! Here's to a great adventurous year ahead!
