What's In A Mate?

All this week, I am going to be blogging about different friends' list of what they want in a mate. Some of these people are married, some are single, and all different ages. I think I will post 2 per day - I hope you find them as interesting as I do!

Today's post includes the lists of Cindy and Reta (2 of my co-workers). I think Reta's is absolutely hilarious! First up......

CINDY
43 years old
Married for 20 years, but going through a divorce
Mother of 2 teenage boys

1. Must be taller than me - preferably over 5'10"

2. Health conscious - He doesn't have to be Superman, but he needs to have seen the inside of a gym in the past month.

3. Financially stable - Not wealthy, but stable (although wealthy would be nice).

4. Have a nice place to live - clean, well-kept - NOT living with his parents

5. Good hygiene and grooming - that's a no-brainer, but surprisingly, many men do not have it.

6. Absolutely no tobacco usage of any kind - this is a total deal-breaker!

7. Knows how to dress for any occasion, and nice shoes are a plus.

8. Good relationship with his kids and his mother. And another deal-breaker is that he must be good with my kids and want to have a relationship with them.

9. Able to teach me something and willing to learn something new with me or from me.

10. He should at least be aware of what is going on in the world around him (politically, socially, economically, etc.).

11. Chivalry, chivalry, chivalry!

12. Enjoys dancing and can be a good lead.

13. Likes sports (without being fanatical) and doesn't talk down to me about them. If he has tickets to a game, I want him to take me, not his buddy.

14. Most importantly, he has to be a Christian and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

15. Good kisser

16. Attentive/affectionate

17. Communicates regularly (email, calling, text)
