Remote High School Reunion

Last week I got a special treat - a visitor to Dallas whom I haven't seen or talked to in about 13 years! My high school friend from Minnesota, Amy, was in town for a work conference and so after just recently reconnecting on Facebook in recent months, we arrange to get together for dinner.
It was so surreal to see her in the Sheraton lobby, all the way across the country from where we met and knew each other - and after all this time! It was so much fun remembering the old days at Cooper High School - AP Physics class, weird teachers we had, our part-time job at the same craft store, spanish class, etc. I forgot how many fun memories we had together!
What a rare treat to be able to meet up with Amy after all these years! If it weren't for Facebook, we never would've connected - thank you, Facebook!
